Rhino Sports™ Teamed Up With Michael Jordan's Jumpman23 Company In Las Vegas For The Hottest Game In Town
Scottsdale, Arizona, February 19, 2007 – Rhino Sports was selected by Stungun Productions and Michael Jordan’s company to provide a state of the art, full basketball court and two half courts for The Jordan Brand Experience in Vegas during the 2007 NBA All Star weekend.
The Jordan Brand Experience, is an innovative, three-day public event that gives fans the opportunity to express and hone their real life and virtual on-the-court skills. During the weekend consumers had the opportunity to play EA Sports highly anticipated NBA Street Homecourt 4. The weekend was also a showcase for the global release of the Air Jordan XX2; the latest edition in the world’s most popular athletic footwear line, officially available in stores on February 17th. The Air Jordan XX2 sets a new standard in the categories of performance, design and technology among the footwear industry. Inspired by the F-22 Raptor, the most stealth and superior fighter jet in the world, the Air Jordan XX2 offers the ultimate in air superiority, offering the player the tools needed to take over the competition.
The event ran from Friday, February 16 through Sunday, February 18. Consumers had the opportunity to take instruction from the basketball athletes on recreated home courts provided by Rhino Sports from Jordan Brand Team athletes Rip Hamilton (Detroit Pistons) and Carmelo Anthony (Denver Nuggets) as well as the former trainer of Michael Jordan, Tim Grover. In addition to some of today's brightest stars and celebrities attending the three-day consumer event fans were treated to several local events such as a sneaker collection exhibit, clinics and live performances.
